Behind every famous person and battle throughout history there were literally tens of thousands of largely unknown civilians, from the plebeians of Rome to the peasants of the middle ages and beyond the representation and desire to understand life outside of a purely historical military context is constantly growing as documentaries, museums and the public demand to know more about the normal people that filled the extraordinary events of the past as well as the more famous named players.

In recognition of this expanding desire Greenleaf creates civilian items any dwelling would be proud of. As far as possible these items are made based upon originals or their depictions and any items currently made can be found in the in stock section of the site.

We have experience working from single, antique illustrations and coupling those with the real world desire for function to create working replicas as well as studying photographs of existing originals held in public or private collections to copy or build similar unique working replicas in the spirit of the original items.
